Destiny USA, one of the largest shopping malls in the U.S. located in Syracuse, New York, reopened on Tuesday after a temporary closure due to a security threat. The mall had been shut down for five hours following a terror threat made against the popular shopping and entertainment destination.
Threat Prompts Swift Response
According to local authorities, a Syracuse man was arrested for making a terroristic threat against Destiny USA. The threat was deemed serious enough to warrant immediate action, leading to the mall’s closure while police and security personnel investigated the situation.
