CBS has made significant changes to its programming lineup, canceling three shows, announcing the end of two more in 2024, and renewing 17 others, including a brand-new series. The three shows that have been canceled are The Equalizer spin-off FBI: Most Wanted, Good Sam, and True Lies. In addition to these cancellations, CBS also confirmed the end of two popular series: NCIS: Los Angeles and Magnum P.I., both of which will air their final seasons in 2024. These long-running shows have been fan favorites, with NCIS: Los Angeles entertaining audiences for over a decade and Magnum P.I. building a loyal following during its revival. The network has renewed 17 other shows, including a brand-new series titled Night Shift, a gripping medical drama set in a high-pressure emergency room. Other returning shows include NCIS, Blue Bloods, Young Sheldon, and The Neighborhood, all of which have been renewed for additional seasons.
CBS has also made sure to secure some of its most successful series for future runs. Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Big Brother will all continue in 2024 and beyond, as these reality staples remain strong performers in the network’s lineup.
