Admission to the watch party was just $5, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Detroit Tigers Foundation. The foundation has provided millions in grants, tickets, and scholarships throughout Michigan, northern Ohio, and southern Ontario since its inception in 2005. Children under 14 were allowed free entry, making it a family-friendly event that brought out young and old supporters alike.
Fans who arrived early were treated to “Tigers in the Wild” t-shirts and received complimentary Little Caesars pizza and water. Many gathered at the Comerica Landing and Pitchers Pub, enjoying the communal atmosphere that Tigers’ playoff baseball brought back to Detroit. The event also featured the team’s beloved mascot, PAWS, adding to the excitement and celebratory feel.
