		<description>I guess now that I look, VEP turnout was down as well, so maybe our record numbers aren&#039;t all that important when it still means a decrease in the percentage turnout of eligible voters.</description>

		<description>I think nationwide turnout was around 131 million voters, so I don&#039;t think that number is 131 million more than any election in history or else... well, you get the implication.  And it appears that our VAP turnout rate decreased from 2004, which is interesting to note.</description>
