Anfinson is and always was emotionless about her childs death. She constantly changed her story throughout her trial and during her incarceration. She told several people she left the room to have a cigarette..others to use the phone. The child had ethanol in his system that was confirmed by two medical examiners. Two seperate trials with a total of 24 jurors all came back with the same verdict...Guilty. Her "mens rea" or guilty knowledge should have been sufficient enough to convict her. Postpartum or not she calculated the means by which she would dispose of the body and concocted a kidnapping story to protect herself.
