“Are you fired up out thee? Are you ready to go?”
Asking Democrats to remember how they felt the day after President George W. Bush’s reelection victory in 2004, U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley encouraged Democratic activists at the annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner to work hard between now and election day.
Braley, who is a co-chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s “Red to Blue” program, was said he expected Democrats to expand their majority in the House of Representatives — “the people’s house” — this November.
“We need your help. We need your support,” he said, as he introduced Becky Greenwald, challenging U.S. Rep. Tom Latham in Iowa’s fourth district.
