New Website Has Piles of Info on Manure Management

The Iowa Manure Management Action Group announced today that it has an all-new website.

The group was launched about 10 years ago as a partnership of public and private groups to address manure management issues in Iowa.

As noted on the new website, members of IMMAG include: Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), Iowa Environmental Council, Agribusiness Association of Iowa, Iowa Farm Bureau, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa Cattlemen's Association, Iowa Poultry Association, Iowa Turkey Federation, Iowa State Dairy Association, Conservation Districts of Iowa, Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR), Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Iowa Commercial Nutrient Applicators Association, Iowa Beef Center, Iowa Pork Industry Center, Iowa State University Extension and the College of Agriculture.

The website features publications and reports on manure management research, reference materials for livestock producers, and a "frequently asked questions" section.
