Edwards Announces Campaign Chairs for Every County

Elizabeth Edwards, wife of Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards, helped open his Waterloo headquarters today while at the same time the campaign announced its list of 99 county chairs for their caucus campaign.

Dan Leistikow, campaign spokesperson, said in a release that the announcement of 99 county chairs is the first from any candidate — Democrat or Republican — to establish leadership in every Iowa county.

Edwards has held a stable lead in most polling coming out of Iowa and has visited the state over 20 times since the 2004 election where he was John Kerry’s vice presidential companion on the Democratic ticket.
