Well if you want our country to return to her roots than you had better re-think Chris Reed, let me put it in simple terms you don't spend your campaign funds on suits, ties, McDonalds everyday and ebay! Nor do you drive to another state and spend your money there for signage etc for your campaign... Geez, and you all think Christopher is all about looking out for you and your money and best interest etc. he already proved once how he will spend your money.

The misinformation that seems to come from all sides during an election is truly unnerving especially given the seriousness of the problems our state and our nation are facing today.

I am a Burlington Iowa businessman that for business reasons will not offer my name or the company I own, and if that disqualifies my remarks as being credible, than so be it. My remarks however, are true and based solely upon first hand information, and in no way hearsay or lies simply to discredit someone.

More than a year ago, I and my wife, were invited to a Burlington restaurant along with two other couples to meet Mariannette Miller-Meeks and Steve Rathje. Both Ms. Meeks and Mr. Rathje’s spouses were in attendance as well. During dinner a variety of topics were discussed, whereby both Ms. Meeks and Mr. Rathje were given the opportunity to offer their specific positions on each topic.

When the topic of abortion was brought up, Mr. Rathje was very clear in regard to his belief that “life begins at conception and ends in natural death.” Ms. Meeks on the other hand, threw out the argument that, “there were a lot of children living in depressed conditions and had the mother made a different “choice,” the children wouldn’t be living the life they seemed destined to live, thus being a burden to society.” The guests at the table were outraged, with one specifically asking Ms. Meeks; “So I suppose you are in favor of a doctor stabbing an unborn infant in the back of the head with a screwdriver and sucking it’s brains out in an attempt to keep it from living a depressed life!” Ms. Meeks was speechless to say the least and offered no further comment on the topic.

Denying ones true identity and their beliefs for the sake of winning an election is something I am sick and tired of. Lying is not acceptable in any case and those who stand behind a liar are just as guilty of deceit as the liar him/herself. If someone is willing to change who they are and what they believe in for the sake of winning an election, imagine what they’ll be willing to do once they are elected. My prayer is that this email somehow reaches the masses, as the plain and simple truth must be told, Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks is Pro Choice and that is the truth!

Reed is barely hanging on. He along with Miller-Meeks have not brought forth any solutions of any substance on how they plan to make a difference for Iowa.

At the end of the day everyday Steve has a solid plan for Iowa. What do the other two have? Nothing.

Steve Rathje, is clearly the only one that is bringing real solutions to the problems facing everyday folks in Iowa and America. www.steverathje.com to find out more about Steve and where he stands on the issues that count.

Not that I know. Personally I think that web-pages suck compared to e.g. a plasma containment, since it can adjust itself much better (nearer) to the users data without having to do everything with the yet to evolve web tools on an “evil” server.
IM is already there and with jabber really well done, why not define several additional personal information meta data and assign external urls/services what not to it, so you can browse your buddys and show all the information lotro gold from several different sources if you like (maybe even in a nice context based Mabinogi Gold plasmoid view). You could even get the relevant information Maple story mesos from other services (local and private ones) hidden from the IM service, but only mapped by the client to your addressbook.
