Rules Everyone should step back and think about this. The United States is a nation of laws. Many Americans are tired of President Bush not because of specific policies of his administration with which we disagree, but fundmentally because of the flagrant disregard for the rule of law, the Constitution, even international agreements demonstrated by the Bush team over the years.

The Bush team has an "ends justify the means" attitude. It's got them into a lot of trouble even when they thought they were doing the right thing. They are wrong. The "process justifies the ends" in a nation of laws.

Florida and Michigan state parties did not follow the process regardless of their reasoning or how "right" they think they are. The voters of those states deserve better and should consider changing decision makers within the state parties. I'm sorry, that is their only lawful recourse now.

I became convinced Obama should be the Dem nominee after Clinton's grandstanding on this. We need to elect someone this time that will not only follow but respect the rule of law.
