When the president and Dems were trying to move forward in a bipartisan way the Reps declared that they were going to turn this into the president's "Waterloo". Does anyone really believe that Grassley didn't give himself over completely to that strategy when he embraced Limbaugh/Palin style sensationalistic lies about "pulling the plug"? <br><br>I'd like Grassley to name a single Republican who said the following: <br><br>"The Dems won the election and are going to get some of the things they ran on, like a public option. But if we work with them we can move on some of our ideas like tort reform too."<br><br>That would be bipartisan and it's what the president invited, naming Grassley specifically. Everyone knows it's Grassley that chose the GOP's partisan "no to everything" strategy. He must think we're idiots. Who does Grassley think he's fooling?
