Allow the people to speak A true assessment of work performed in the community comes from the testimomy of those served by organizations that claim to represent and receive funding to help Black folks and any other member of the community that live where poverty rules. In all the years invested in working to better the conditions of people in need. My questions are how many peoples lives have been transformed by the organizations representing the poor. Were they treated with respect and dignity. Did the community folks received the help they needed to become self-sustaining, or did they leave the organization more frustrated due to non productive results. I would love to see an accountability board of community folks that survey the people that received services from organizations. It is one thing to have the numbers of person served as a mark of success, it is quite a different story when all of the people served are polled to voice their experiences. Let the voice of the people speak for themselves.

" Luv Ya Man " "You are absolutely right, we do have to learn to love ourselves and forgive our past transgressions. Keep in mind that our struggle continues, and I don't know where we got to the point that we thought we didn't have to stay focused and continue to strive for progress. God continues to give each of us that something that we as individuals are more gifted to do than the other, and we must continue to stive to be better and reach back for our Brothers. I remember twenty years ago, thanks then, and thanks now, onward and forward, Allen Spencer."
