Steve King Says Pelosi Opening ‘Back Door’ For Terrorist Attack

By Douglas Burns | 02.17.08 | 11:05 pm

U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and other “liberals” are opening a “back door” for terrorist attacks in the United States.

King, a Kiron conservative who represents the sprawling 5th District in western Iowa, made comments that echoed those of President George W. Bush earlier this weekend. Bush says the inaction of Congress to extend government wiretapping means the United States is in “more danger of attack.”

Here is King:

Pelosi and her liberals refused to debate a bi-partisan Senate bill to update FISA. Instead of taking up this vital bill to secure America, she and her Democrats want to play politics with contempt charges against members of the Bush administration. They are going on vacation this afternoon without passing a bi-partisan FISA update that passed the Senate earlier this week. By this Saturday, Pelosi and her liberals will be on vacation and a back door will be opened for terrorists to plan attacks on America. This is unacceptable. I condemn this arrogant disregard for the physical safety of every American- man, woman and child.

King advocates criminal activity… …and opposes our Constitution. America is a nation of laws, and yet crazies like Stevie King feel it’s OK to ignore the law when it suits them.
Little Stevie would rather us put our trust in a war criminal (Bush) than in our Courts. He’d rather us embrace the telecoms who violated our Constitutional Rights than the Constitution itself. He’d rather we followed the voices in his head than follow our Rule of Law.
Those few real American Patriots, our military and veterans, roughly 12 percent of our population, took an oath to “…Support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…”  Little Stevie falls clearly in the “Domestic” category. He seeks to use fear to change our thinking. Stevie, that’s called TERRORISM, which makes you a TERRORIST. The folks that support you in your endeavors: terrorists and terrorist sympathizers.
Ah, Stevie King…Iowa’s own Domestic Terrorist.
