I've talked with several wealthy, moderate Republicans in the past few days. They are horrified by Huckabee. They definitely would not vote for him in the general. Whether they vote Democrat or stay home would depend on the Democratic nominee.

I have been quite worried about Huckabee for some time, but now I am confident that the business Republicans would desert him in a big way.

McCain is the problem. I thought we dodged a bullet last summer, but he is looking like a strong contender. He would give any of our candidates trouble and would probably beat Obama Dukakis-style.
