Obama Tops Democrats The People in Iowa take time and scrutinize these candidates. The residents of Iowa are educated. They are

not fooled by hipe. They recognize truth and courage and

ability. That is why Senator Obama is on top. That is why he will win in Iowa!

Huckabee on Illegal Immigrants Right on! Doesn't anyone care about breaking the law? What about closing our hospitals? You have to credit Huckabee

for having the courage to speak for what he believes instead of what he thinks the people want to hear. HOWEVER,

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION is the biggest threat to our country.

It creeps into every facet. It's not the politics, stupid.

It's our country!!

OBAMA '08! Obama is a smart unifying leader. That is why he is attentive to Western Iowa. America needs a leader like Obama who is a uniter to set it back on track. Obama is the only uniter in the leading Democratic pack. Hillary has huge negatives. Edwards is a populist who draws support by attacking the right and corporations.

And yet Obama also is the toughest of the pack. Obama is the only one of the three who stood against the war in Iraq from the start when it was unpopular. Obama is the one who is not taking donations from lobbyists or benefitting from huge 527 money (Edwards' 527 is run by a fellow who was on his campaign until this summer). Even as recently as a few months ago, Hillary let Bush railroad her into supporting his warmongering bill against Iran which declared their military to be terrorists (technically a declaration of war).

The media doesn't do enough reporting on these distinctions. They are having a hard time understanding Obama and getting over the fact that Clinton's "experience" is not very strong. Her key acts were to mess up health care reform in the early 1990s (we still haven't recovered from that), to vote for the war in Iraq, and more recently to let herself get railroaded into supporting a warmongering bill against Iran. I am also very concerned that she will not release her archives as First Lady in time for the Primaries, and that she and Bill will not release the records for their $500 million charity which employed their campaign officials and to which their donors gave tens of millions of dollars. Bill and Hillary also have enriched themselves to Dick Cheney levels through their government service. Together they are about 50 times richer than Obama. It just feels bad. As does Edwards' fortune.

Beware of Huckabee Mike Huckabee scares me. He is liar an example is when he stated in front of millions of people that he has a theology degree, when he does not. He is very weak on illegal immigration as well I found this article and video and am sharing it with everyone I know.

Mike Huckabee's Shamnesty for Illegal Aliens!

December 12, 2007

by William Gheen

President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC

ALIPAC

www.alipac.us

In August of 2005, I was called for an interview by THV-TV News out of Little Rock Arkansas to comment on Governor Mike Huckabee's comments complaining about an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid on local chicken plants, which resulted in the arrest of 119 illegal aliens. What I said during the interview is even more relevant today "Governor Huckabee is known nationally as an illegal alien's best friend!"

At the time, Mike Huckabee was known nationally for supporting in-state tuition for illegal aliens, which is massively opposed by American voters four to one! This plan forces American taxpayers to subsidize tuition for illegal aliens, thus replacing American students in the limited seats in colleges, while providing the wrong message and encouraging more people to illegally immigrate and bring their children into the U.S. to be trained for jobs, it is illegal for them to have!

The fact that Mike Huckabee would support a policy change despised by 80% of those he swore to represent in public office says a lot about what we could expect from the man as President.

Furthermore, his open denouncement of ICE raids in Arkansas is probably the result of his heavy financial support from Open Borders corporations like Tyson Foods. In Arkansas, the chicken processing lobby is so powerful they call it "Big Chicken".

While the public was cheering the raids, Tyson Foods was upset about ICE raids and so was their bought and paid for politician Mike Huckabee!

Tyson Foods Inc., has their global headquarters located in Springdale, Arkansas and they are the worlds largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef, and pork. They were large contributors to Mike Huckabee as Governor and now their federal political action committee, TYPAC, is backing his campaign for President.

Tyson Foods Inc. is one of the most egregious corporate violators of our Federal laws against hiring illegals in America!

In 2003, the U.S. Justice Department claimed that 15 Tyson plants in nine states had been conspiring since 1994 to recruit illegal immigrants, and that this practice was known by senior executives at Tyson corporate headquarters. It was determined in court that Tyson managers had been intentionally working with organized crime elements and temporary service agencies to import illegal alien workers, replace their American workers, and drive down wages. Tyson agreed to join the basic pilot program to screen new employees in 2004, but later raids continued to find large numbers of illegal aliens working for Tyson!

Earlier this year, the company supported the thrice-failed "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" amnesties that were pushed in the U.S. Senate. These legislative attempts to legalize Tyson's illegal labor workforce failed due to massive public opposition with Zogby polls showing only 3% of Americans approving of how Congress was handling the issue! The backlash was so massive that angry calls to lawmakers, which were ranging 50 to 1 opposed, overloaded and shut down the entire Capital phone system!

Please watch video

http://www.youtube.c...

Article continued here:

http://www.alipac.us...

what is your sense about which of the second-tier candidates will do best in western Iowa? In some ways Richardson seems like a good fit for the Democratic voters there, but as you write, Biden has been spending a lot of time in western Iowa too.

He has a PROVEN record of fighting Wall Street, Big Business, powerful corporations, Big Media, etc.,etc., etc. and WINNING HIS CASES IN COURT! We need John Edwards to take our country back for "We the people". Give him eight years as President with O'Bama, and all of the charm and charisma he exhibits, as Vice President and in 2016 O'Bama will be our man for President of the good 'ol U. S. of A!
