My favorite part of Christmas is the tree and the beautiful Icicle Lights hanging from our new home. I am thankful to have this, even if I am short about 1,450 "supporters".

Conservative Republicans, PLEASE SUPPORT MITT ROMNEY! The only viable, serious candidates are Romney and Rudy. If it's the conservative you want, who is also pragmatic enough to become governor of Massachusetts and work with Democrats, then Romney is the only choice. PLEASE do not commit POLITICAL SUICIDE by supporting the 2008 Republican equivalent of 2004 Democrat Howard Dean. There is a great reason why the “mainstream media” is fawning all over Huckabee, including the endorsement of the Iowa City Press-Citizen: DEMOCRATS WANT HUCKABEE BECAUSE THEY KNOW HE'LL GO DOWN IN FLAMES VS. EITHER CLINTON OR OBAMA. Huckabee is a very likable guy, but he was a mediocre Governor (one of the “best” according to TIME? The same TIME that just selected VLADIMIR PUTIN as PERSON OF THE YEAR rather than General David Patreaus, Pd.D?) Huckabee is NOT a nationally viable Republican. Hope for Huckabee jazzing-up our evangelical Christian friends by his being tapped as either Romney or Rudy's running-mate, but not the Republican nominee for President of the United States for Heaven's Sake. First place for Huckabee in Iowa would be a total disaster for the GOP.
