Irreverent Huckabee Ad Features Chuck Norris Endorsement

Mike Huckabee’s first television commercial, which begins running this week, takes an irreverent approach to presidential politics, featuring martial artist and television star Chuck Norris.

Huckabee, who has emerged as a strong challenger to Mitt Romney in polls of Iowa voters, said on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace that the ad is meant to have a little bit of fun during a serious process.

Huckabee’s new ad is one of several being unveiled by campaigns this week as the presidential campaigns heat up. (Related story)

Here’s a transcript of the ad.

Mike Huckabee on Camera: “My plan to secure the border? Two words: Chuck Norris”

    the huckster is a liar Isn’t it amazing how Huckabee is now trying to put the IRS out of office…looks like he too was bit by the Ron Paul bug!  But he raised taxes in his state for years.  What a fake

    It’s a GREAT Ad! Huckabee has a sense of Humor I saw that ad on the Sunday Fox interview with Chris Matthews. Thought it showed that Huckabee is human. I also listened to the interview and googled info on the flat tax, Huckabee stand on Illegals , Nafta and Social Security.

      The guy told the truth. Refreshing and surprising. Especially after the Nevada BS Democrat debate that we now hear was moved to a smaller 2000 seat venue, so that 1000 of Hillary’s closest friends could boo the competition.

      I will caucus and I am a Democrat! But it won’t be for Hillary Rotten Cling on. She lost my vote. I am now looking at everybody else.

    Kelly, you better google that. It wasn't Huckabee I googled that and it was the Arkansas Legislature that had to pull there &%$# out of the dirt.
      Huckabee has good record in Arkansas. And he speaks the truth.

    Huckabee crosses party lines for this swing voter! i liked mike huckabee before i saw the tv ad, but if i didn't know who he was and saw it, it would definately make me take a 2nd look.  real unique approach to politics.

    i'm not even sure if i believe the polls that say hillary is ahead in the dems, seems to me, biden would be their best choice.

    oh well, for this indpendant swing voter, i'm voting for Huckabee, and i'll bet lots of other swing voters will too.  i even heard some dems who are going to vote for Huckabee because they're sick of the Clinton-Bush dynasty.

    the other thing is, that after Shrillary gets done spitting Obama out, the scorned Obama voters will most likely go over the Huckabee, specifically many of the AfrAmerican Christian voters.
