Of course the protests were not partisan issues - there were liberals, conservatives, and libertarians in Dallas this evening. If you had bothered to attend a tea party, you would have realized what they were all about. However, I am sure that you will be glad to listen to the biased media to get your information. No one sat silently by -- we said no to much of the spending in the last 8 years, but the damage done in the short time that Obama has been in office is staggering. As for Texans, and I am proud of our Governor this evening, we are tired of our federal government taking our money and then handing it back to us and telling us how we have to spend it. We do not work for the federal governmet, or the people of California, or the people of New York, or the people of Michigan.............The powers of the Federal Government are enumerated in the Constitution, and those that are not spelled out or prohibited in the Constitution belong to the states. Were bricks thrown at windows? Perhaps the riot police were needed and peper spray was deployed somewhere? It does not appear anyone is screaming.
