This coming Thursday, May 17, Governor Culver will kick off the "Capitol for a Day" program in Dubuque by signing the historic film industry incentive package called the "Film, Television and Video Project Promotion Program." The event is scheduled from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. and the signing will be the first item on the agenda at 1:30. It will be held at the Grand River Center, 500 Bell Street, Dubuque, IA 52001, (563) 690-4500. It is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
The event will focus on economic development In Iowa and will feature Mr. Mike Tramontina, recently appointed Director of the Iowa Department of Economic Development.
