During both the interracial marriage ban rulings and the school segregation rulings by the US Supreme Court, public opinion was overwhelmingly against equality. Within decades, we viewed such ignorance and intolerance as shameful. It's just a question of whether or not you want to think for yourself and follow in Christ's footsteps on civil rights, or if you want to use the christian faith in vain.<br><br>Just remember - W.W.J.D. (Who would Jesus demonize)? Great question, indeed. It would not have worked out well.
