Video: UIowa Students for Giuliani

By Adam Burke | 10.18.07 | 12:41 am

Rudy Giuliani spoke before a mostly collegiate crowd of about 500 at the Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City on Wednesday.

Rudy

One of those students, Jimmy Centers, introduced the man he says will be the next president.

Centers is the chairman of Students for Giuliani on the University of Iowa campus.  He said that Rudy Giuliani is the only Republican candidate with an Iowa campaign office east of Des Moines.

Giuliani spoke at length about tort reform, but also managed to work in a few jabs at Democratic candidates.  At one point he proposed that medical decisions should be made, “with a doctor, not a Hillary bureaucrat.”  When he dropped the “H”-word, it brought some of the biggest cheers of the event.

Video of Giuliani’s campus rally below the fold.
In this video, Jimmy Centers talks about the thrill of introducing his chosen candidate and some of the reasons he believes in Giuliani’s presidential candidacy.  Also in this video, Rudy Giuliani talks about what he believes are some of the concerns of young people.
